If someone has taken steps to end their life (such as an overdose) or is making an immediate threat to someone’s safety, call 911 right away.
1. For urgent mental health support, you can call 988 any time, day or night, or text HOME to 741741 to connect with a crisis counselor.
2. If you're experiencing issues with your prescribed psychiatric medication, contact your prescriber or follow their emergency instructions. If they’re unavailable or it’s urgent, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
